Would you like to find something fun and creative for your child to do after school on those early release Mondays throughout the school year? Then calling all students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  The Monroe Arts Center has the perfect solution...Afternoon Youth Art Class. Help your child to experience a lifelong discovery and exploration of the arts.

During each of the six Afternoon Youth Art Class sessions, art instructor Lisa Beach will provide lessons in various aspects of art and art techniques. Lisa will guide students through each project, while instilling creativity and expanding the imaginations of budding artists. This is the 1st trimester. Register early as class size is limited.

2:30 pm to 4:00 pm
NOTE: No early release class on October 23.

Registration deadline is 5:00 pm by Tuesday, September 19. To register call the Monroe Arts Center at 608-325-5700 or in-person at MAC office Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

  9th - Art From India-Henna Hand Art (What are the Principles of Art and how do they work?)

16th - Australian Aboriginal Art (Color Theory, Exploring the Color Wheel)

30th - Exploring & Creating Different Mediums (Gallery Walk, Art Inspiration)
