Two celebrated musical forces together on one stage for one memorable concert. World-renowned pianist Christopher Taylor, and members of Pro Arte Quartet will perform an extended-length afternoon performance by Schubert, Beethoven, and Brahms.

Christopher Taylor is hailed as "a great pianist" (The Los Angeles Times.) He has
distinguished himself throughout his career as an innovative musician with a diverse array of talents and interests. Whatever the genre or era of the composition, Mr. Taylor brings to it an active imagination and intellect coupled with heartfelt intensity and grace.

The Pro Arte Quartet (PAQ) is one of the world’s most distinguished string quartets; they are superb. Three members of the quartet, David Perry (violin), Sally Chisholm (viola), and Parry Karp (cello), will be part of the December 2 concert.  As a quartet, they have performed together as an ensemble since 1995 and have toured throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia and continue to champion equally both standard classical repertoire and new music. Their performances are known for their combined warmth and intensity and a well-balanced sense of proportion. They draw upon a century-long legacy of brilliance.

A reception in Knuteson Promenade immediately following the concert.
