Hailing from the Twin-Cities in Minnesota, multi-talented brothers Andy and Rick Ausland are Buckets and Tap Shoes. They bring an explosive, high-energy rhythmic blend of music, dance, and drumming from the streets of Minneapolis. They take audiences on a pulsating journey using percussion instruments including, found objects such as buckets.

Their enthusiasm for entertaining is infectious as the percussive rhythms emanating from both their tapping feet and hard rocking music. You’ll be awed by the brother’s high-speed drumming, innovative music jams, and tap dancing.  It’s a performance that’s quirky, refreshing, and totally unpretentious.

Buckets and Tap Shoes has toured internationally to Austria, Finland, Ecuador, Malta, St. Thomas, Costa Rica, and Russia, as well as North American tours to over thirty states. They have performed on A Prairie Home Companion, and have won numerous awards and competitions. Get ready for an electrifying evening of good vibes, fleet feet, fast wit, and funky rhythms.
