As a tribute to this long-time Monroe resident and woodworker, this exhibit remembers Nate Roth and showcases his artistic talent and his various facets of woodworking. Curated by fellow woodworker, Dennis Oostdik, this display features Roth’s signature pieces such as hand-turned bowls, plates, ornaments, and plant stands, as well as furniture, and decorative items. Nathan R. Roth chose his life work in construction business and for 45 years managed the Bruni-Miller Company in Monroe. He was a man of many talents including spelunking, mountain climbing, and in 1955 he built his own observatory to scan the heavens. He was an expert at woodworking and created many beautiful pieces in his quaint backyard workshop.
