This watercolor painter from Rockford, Illinois likes to travel the two-lane-roads equipped with his sketchbook and his camera.  His realistic watercolors attempt to capture the sights that most people pass without a second thought.
 
Images of and old weathered farmstead or autumn wind rustling through matured crops communicate the existence of man but not necessarily the presence of man.  Linden’s greatest satisfaction is when the artwork created captures his feeling of the landscape experienced.

As a full-time painter, Linden creates his paintings in his studio using references of drawings, watercolor sketches and photos created from his fieldwork.  He then edits the scenes to combine design elements, color harmony and good value contrast to express his vision.

This accomplished painter has earned signature status with the Watercolor Honor Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Alabama and the North East Watercolor Society.  Linden has also received Patron Purchase awards for five consecutive years in the Watercolor USA Competition.
