A Letter from MAC’s Executive Director
To our Patrons, Supporters, and to our Community:
Although our doors may be temporarily closed, this is only an intermission for MAC!

We are heartbroken that circumstances prevented us from presenting the entirety of our 2019-2020 season. Please know that the Board of Directors and the Staff are working behind the scenes every day to make sure that when it’s appropriate, we are ready to reopen our doors and continue to create unforgettable shared experiences with you, our audience. We are so grateful for the incredible and continuing support of our community.

I want to be completely transparent and let you know that circumstances around reopening communities are changing every day, especially for theatres. As much as we want to welcome our patrons back to MAC, at this time we have no way of knowing when that time might come. Rest assured that we will open as soon as possible, but not one-minute sooner than is safe for our community.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire Staff here at MAC, we say thank you for helping to sustain the Monroe Arts Center and ensure our survival through this unprecedented challenge. We are so grateful for your support, your phone calls, and your letters of encouragement. On behalf of all of the members of our Arts Center family, we wish you health, resilience, and strength through the coming days.

Warm Regards,

How Can You Help?
Support the Monroe Arts Center through the MAC Intermission Fund
The Monroe Arts Center is a resilient organization, but we cannot survive this current crisis alone. With the remainder of the 2019-2020 season cancelled, two of our largest fundraisers postponed, and summer programming uncertain, MAC is facing unprecedented financial losses. In the coming weeks and months as the impact of this crisis threatens the well-being of our organization and the community of artists who depend on us, we must lean the incredible generosity of individuals like you now more than ever. We are asking that if you have the resources to please think about making an investment in MAC as the center of the arts community in Monroe by making a donation to the MAC Intermission Fund.Together, we can make sure that the show will go on!
