SUMMARY:Wisconsin Regional Art Program 2026 Competition & Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:For the 39th consecutive year\, Monroe Arts Center will exhibit artwork entered in the Wisconsin Regional Arts Program (WRAP) Competition. Artwork will be on exhibit March 13th\, 2026 through May 16th\, 2026. This event is co-sponsored by the Monroe Arts Center and the Association of Wisconsin Artists and is open to non-professional artists (must be at least 18 years of age) living in Wisconsin or neighboring states. \nArtists are encouraged to participate in the WRAP competitions and workshops held in various regions of Wisconsin throughout the year. \nThe State Award winners selected at the Monroe exhibit\, along with all other 2025-2026 WRAP competition winners held throughout the Wisconsin\, will be on display in September at a location yet to be determined. DESCRIPTION:Opening Reception: \nFriday\, April 10th 2025\, 5:00 – 7:00 PM \nGallery Talk 5:30 PM\nAll of our gallery spaces and openings are free to attend and open to the public.\nNew to MAC this season\, we will be hosting a MAC member artist show in our Wellington/Muranyi Gallery. Artists (who are members of the Monroe Arts Center– please note we now have an “artist membership” available at the $40 level) are invited to submit 1-3 pieces of art of any medium to exhibit. The first piece can be entered as part of one’s membership and additional pieces for $10 each.
