ARTIST STATEMENT

Vina’s artworks are composed with various forms of media. She started her artworks with Chinese brush painting on rice paper and later on transformed into other medium such as oil and pastel paintings showing in this exhibition. Vina is very passionate for both western and eastern art styles and likes to bring their essence into her art. In her artworks, colors are very essential for her to express the subject matter whether it is a traditional landscape or a bird or flower painting.
