Vina  loves nature, walking her dog in the early morning at the neighborhood park and the  joy and serenity it brings her. The birds, the flowers, and the landscape enrich her inspiration for her art. As an artist, she strives to capture the sense of harmony and peace within those images of nature. She also enjoys sharing tranquility of her art with others beyond the cultures, ethnicity and language differences.

Vina’s artworks are composed with various forms of media. She started her artworks with Chinese brush painting on rice paper and later on transformed into other medium such as oil and pastel paintings showing in this exhibition. Vina is very passionate for both western and eastern art styles and likes to bring their essence into her art. In her artworks, colors are very essential for her to express the subject matter whether it is a traditional landscape or a bird or flower painting. Everything is captured under the emphasis of light and color to express the movement and feeling of the nature.
