EXHIBIT DESCRIPTION & ARTIST INFORMATION

Echoing the Everyday is an exhibition of soft pastel works. This show is meant to capture moments observed by the artists as they move through their lives. The common everyday images are translated into interesting and compelling paintings.

The goals of the Wisconsin Pastel Artists (WPA) are to promote appreciation of the unique qualities of pastel as a medium; to encourage and develop fellow artists both artistically and professionally through workshops, exhibitions, meetings, and critiques; promote public awareness of pastels;
and especially encourage fun and creativity among our members as we explore the unique possibilities of using pastels.
